Whakatāne Local Wild Food Challenge 2019 – The Winners
The beautiful Ohope beach in Whakatane, eastern Bay of Plenty just played host to our biggest ever LWFC event.
The weather gods turned on a spectacular day and we were able to go well into the evening with music, Hangi, mystery box challenges, food demos, interactive workshops and a real summer festival vibe.
Thousands turning out for a fascinating, adventurous, fun day at the Mahy Reserve.
Big shout out to Whakatane District Council and Little Big Productions for putting on this ever growing, wonderful community event!
We love working with these guys and can’t wait for next year’s Waitangi weekend Local Wild Food Festival.
